Duties Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring quality standards are met. Support staff training and development to promote excellent customer service, food safety, and operational efficiency. Coordinate shift schedules, manage inventory control, and monitor food production to optimize profitability and minimize waste. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Toast; oversee cash handling procedures. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food handling practices. Supervise kitchen activities including cooking, food presentation, and ensuring timely delivery of orders in a fast-paced environment. Assist with hiring, interviewing, and onboarding new team members while fostering a positive team culture focused on teamwork and leadership. Qualifications Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management or casual dining environments with supervisory responsibilities. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Toast; proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through training, coaching, and performance management. Familiarity with inventory control, food safety standards, and food industry regulations. Prior experience managing hospitality teams in a restaurant or catering setting; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage shift operations smoothly while maintaining high customer service standards.
