This vital role ensures smooth kitchen workflows, maintains high standards of food safety and quality, and supports our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a key leader in our hospitality environment, you will oversee food preparation, inventory control, staff training, and shift management, fostering a positive and efficient kitchen atmosphere that aligns with our commitment to excellence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about food service management and team leadership to make a significant impact. Responsibilities Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food preparation meets quality standards and safety regulations. Oversee food production processes, including cooking, plating, and presentation, to deliver consistent dishes. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food handling practices. Lead, train, and develop kitchen staff on food safety procedures, culinary techniques, POS systems (such as Toast POS and Spoton POS), and customer service standards. Coordinate shift schedules, manage labor costs, and ensure proper staffing levels for efficient service delivery. Enforce strict adherence to food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and regulatory compliance across all kitchen activities. Foster a collaborative team environment through effective communication, leadership in managing hospitality teams, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Work one of the Back of House roles including prep, cook, line or pit room Experience Proven experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management. Demonstrated supervisory or assistant manager experience within the food industry or casual dining settings. Familiarity with inventory control processes, budgeting, food safety management, and food production techniques. Experience as sous Chef or supervisory/management experience in restaurant setting is preferred Experience with texas style BBQ cooking is preferred
