Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this pivotal role, you will lead daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and support the management team in maintaining a high-performing, efficient, and welcoming environment. Your leadership will inspire staff, uphold food safety standards, and drive the restaurant's success through effective management of food quality, team coordination, and operational excellence. Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness Assist in managing staff schedules, training new team members, and providing ongoing development to foster a motivated and skilled team Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency, safety, and compliance with health regulations Utilize POS systems such as Toast for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels Enforce food safety protocols and sanitation standards to guarantee a safe dining environment for guests and staff Support management in analyzing profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and profitability Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally Manage shift operations including supervising staff performance, ensuring timely service delivery, and handling customer inquiries or complaints Conduct staff training sessions on food handling, menu knowledge, customer service skills, and operational procedures Skills Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for transaction processing and reporting Demonstrated ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis within a hospitality setting Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising teams, conducting interviews, training staff, and managing shifts effectively Strong understanding of food safety management practices including HACCP standards and sanitation protocols Ability to handle cash accurately while performing cash handling duties confidently Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences in casual dining or fine dining contexts Basic math skills for order calculations, inventory management, and financial analysis Effective communication skills for managerial tasks such as team training, performance feedback, and conflict resolution Knowledge of culinary techniques related to food production across various cuisines or catering environments is a plus Starting salary: $4800 + Bonus per Month Join us if you're ready to lead with energy, inspire your team's growth, and deliver memorable dining experiences!
