We currently have exciting opportunities for Shift Supervisors/Assistant Managers at our Corner Bakery Cafe locations in the Kansas City market ! Corner Bakery Cafe has been serving guests since 1991 with a menu featuring breakfast favorites, handcrafted salads, sandwiches, pastas, and delicious baked goods. We are looking for energetic restaurant leaders who enjoy working with people, developing a great team, and creating an exceptional guest experience.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Shift Supervisor/Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for leading assigned shifts and overseeing both front-of-house and back-of-house restaurant operations. You will help motivate and support the team while ensuring our guests receive friendly service, quality food, and a great cafe experience.

Responsibilities include:

Leading and managing restaurant shifts Supervising and supporting team members Overseeing front-of-house and back-of-house operations Maintaining high standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness Coaching and motivating employees Ensuring company policies and operational procedures are followed Creating a positive and enjoyable environment for both guests and employees

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Ideal candidates will have: At least 2 years of restaurant supervisory or management experience A passion for the restaurant and hospitality industry Strong leadership and communication skills The ability to work a variety of shifts based on business needs A hands-on, team-oriented approach and willingness to jump in wherever needed A positive attitude and ability to have fun while getting the job done Fast-casual restaurant experience is a plus
