Job Description

Pittsburg Meadowbrook 8 Theatre is seeking a General Manager (GM)! Responsible for all day-to-day operation of the business, a GM ensuring the best customer experience is delivered 100% of the time. This includes the training and supervision of a staff of up to 12 part-time employees. The responsibilities of the position will require 40-45 hours each week, and employees can flex their hours from week to week as needed.
Responsibilities:
Deliver a superior customer-service experience for guests Ensure that all daily/nightly duties are executed with consistency Supervise staff and offer advice, training, and correction when necessary Prepare staffing schedules Coordinate special events and activities with customers Ensure staff is trained to operate digital sound and projection equipment Account for cash and non-cash receipts and ensure adequate change/petty cash Track inventory levels and handle ordering Represent the business in various community events and organizations Minimum Qualifications High school diploma Superior communication and customer service skills A minimum of 3 years in a management or similar supervisory role overseeing more than 3 employees A minimum of 5 years in a customer-facing position Ability to work a flexible schedule consistent with the movie industry, particularly on weekends, evenings, and holidays Reliable transportation to the work location, including during inclement weather Live in the area (or have the ability to relocate within town or a neighboring town) Ability to pass a background check Desired Qualifications Supervisory or management experience in the entertainment or hospitality industry 5 or more years of relevant experience in entertainment, hospitality or food service Flexible/open availability during the weekends Other Benefits Free movies, pop and popcorn Guest pass privileges Paid time off
