Working Assistant Restaurant Manager About Us We are a locally owned, family-oriented homestyle restaurant that treats both our guests and our staff like family. We pride ourselves on serving great comfort food with warm, friendly service. If you love the restaurant industry but hate the brutal late-night hours, this is the place for you! We are open from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM daily , allowing our team to maintain an excellent work-life balance. We close only on Christmas Day . Job Summary We are seeking a full-time, hands-on Working Assistant Manager to support our General Manager/Owner in daily operations. This is a dual-role position requiring active, hands-on experience in both the kitchen (Back of House) and the dining room (Front of House). You will lead by example on the floor, stepping in wherever the team needs you most—whether that means jumping on the line during a rush or greeting guests at the door.

Run daily shifts smoothly, ensuring both the kitchen and dining room are fully staffed, clean, and prepped. Kitchen Support (BOH): Step into the kitchen during peak hours to cook, prep, plate food, or expedite orders to maintain our homestyle quality and speed. Front of House (FOH): Manage the floor during busy rush times. Greet guests, handle cash registers, and resolve customer concerns with warmth and care.Staff Leadership:
Assist in training, scheduling, motivating, and supervising a close-knit team of cooks, servers, and dishwashers.Inventory Control:
Help monitor food waste, manage stock levels, and ensure food safety standards are strictly followed.Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Proven, hands-on experience working in both the kitchen (line cook/prep) and front of house (serving/hosting) is required.Management:
1-2 years of restaurant supervisory, shift lead, or assistant management experience preferred.Skills:
Strong multitasking abilities, excellent interpersonal communication, and a proactive "team-first" attitude.Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand and move dynamically for long periods in a fast-paced environment.Availability:
Must be available to work flexible shifts within our 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM operating hours until closing is complete, including weekends.Pay:
