House Manager
Job Description
Position Overview Private Employer seeking a highly organized and proactive House Manager to oversee daily household operations, grocery and supply procurement, and detailed organization. The ideal candidate will take ownership of inventory management, vendor scheduling, and complete home organization across all living spaces to ensure a seamless and well-maintained environment. This is a long-term position and may lead to additional tasks in the future.
Routine Visit & Weekly Duties Arrival & Daily Tasks:
Check the front steps for deliveries, unbox and break down packages, make the master bed, empty the dishwasher, and manage all daily laundry (wash, hang dry, put away, and empty the dryer). Inventory & Provisioning (Mondays): Check the mail, take inventory of all household goods, and execute weekly ordering, pickups, and putting away of groceries, dried goods, cleaning supplies, and personal hygiene items.Kitchen & Pantry Management:
Promptly put away all groceries and supplies upon arrival. Perform light vegetable chopping as needed and ensure meticulous organization of the refrigerator and pantry spaces. Clear out expired foods from the fridge and pantry weekly.Weekly Maintenance:
Change master bed sheets, inspect guest rooms (make beds and wash towels as needed), restock toilet paper throughout the house, and take out the trash.Weekly Light Cleaning:
Wipe down the refrigerator interior, clean appliances regularly, and perform overall cleaning of the lanai (including wiping the sectional), master suite, and powder room.Monthly Cleaning & Organization Projects Household Organization:
Establish and maintain meticulous organizational systems for the master closet (including labeling drawers), master bathroom, linen closets, and pantry storage.Interior Deep Cleaning:
Conduct a full-house deep clean once a month, wash all throw blankets, wipe down interior and exterior TVs, and dust ceilings, cobwebs, and light fixtures.Exterior & Garage Maintenance:
Sweep out the garage, patios, and sunken areas, wipe down outdoor furniture and surfaces, clean the outdoor grille, and sanitize trash bins.Seasonal Vendor Management:
Schedule and oversee spring home maintenance, specifically coordinating professional window washing and landscaping weed management.Schedule, Hours & Seasonal Adjustments Standard Schedule & Hours:
Anticipated schedule is 5 hours per visit, twice weekly , plus one additional full day per month dedicated to the whole-house deep clean.Fall & Winter Adjustments:
The homeowners travel for 10 to 14 days per month during the fall and winter seasons. During these absences, the schedule shifts to one visit per week, heavily dedicated to catching up on laundry, tackling organizational projects, and completing the monthly whole-house deep clean.Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 20.0 per week Application Question(s): How many years of Housekeeping experience do you have?
