Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and passionate Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team in a fast-paced casual dining environment. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety, managing staff, and maintaining a positive work atmosphere. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to hospitality, and a deep understanding of food handling practices. Responsibilities
  • Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including assistant managers and team members.
  • Coordinate food preparation and cooking schedules to ensure timely service.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain kitchen efficiency.
  • Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new kitchen staff.
  • Implement training programs for new hires on food handling and safety protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Address any customer concerns or feedback regarding food quality or service. Qualifications
  • Proven experience in kitchen management within a casual dining setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling practices and health regulations.
  • Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
  • Experience in shift management, ensuring smooth operations during peak hours.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and customers.
  • Previous experience as an assistant manager is a plus but not required.
