Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Restaurant Shift Manager to lead daily operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Duties Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and cleanliness standards. Manage staff schedules, assign tasks, and oversee training and development to ensure team efficiency and professionalism. Monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment. Oversee cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and ensure accurate transaction processing. Enforce food safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations related to food handling and sanitation. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a positive dining environment. Support kitchen management by supervising food production, ensuring quality standards are met during all shifts. Skills Proven experience in food service management within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments. Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or assistant manager experience in a restaurant setting. Excellent knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required. Skilled in inventory control, food safety practices, and managing food production processes. Ability to train staff effectively in customer service, food handling, and operational procedures. Familiarity with kitchen management, culinary techniques, and food preparation standards. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts efficiently.
