Job Description

About Us:
Mamaleh's Delicatessen opened in 2016 with the goal of bringing Jewish cuisine and deli culture to the Boston area. We are grateful for the acclaim we have received, including Bon Appetit Magazine's 50 best new restaurants in the country and Boston Magazine's Best Deli. Thanks to our tremendously hard working staff and loyal guests, we have become a beloved part of the greater Boston community, with locations in Cambridge and Brookline.
Job Overview:
Mamaleh's General Manager (GM) is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the full scope of daily restaurant operations, from the guest experience to the systems and financial oversight that keep the restaurant running smoothly. The GM works closely with the ownership and shift supervisors to ensure the restaurant operates according to company standards, and serves as the liaison between individual restaurant managers and operations leadership for multiple locations. Mamaleh's GMs don't manage from a distance. You'll be an active, visible presence on the floor from open to close, working side-by-side with guests, your service team, and fellow managers.

Demonstrate exceptional work ethic and strong attention to detail; take feedback well and stay collaborative. Be a source of positivity for the staff with a "yes we can" attitude. Make frequent decisions, troubleshoot, and delegate; be resourceful and solve problems independently.
