As the Assistant Kitchen Manager, you will support the Kitchen Manager in maintaining food safety standards and an efficient kitchen environment. This role requires strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. What You'll Do
- Support the Kitchen Manager in coordinating daily kitchen activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage food production processes, ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes served.
- Train new staff on food handling procedures, safety protocols, and cooking techniques.
- Be hands-on working alongside team stepping into service as needed to support prep, line execution, and expediting during peak hours while modeling efficiency, teamwork, and high culinary standards.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking supplies and stock levels.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen in compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest satisfaction through exceptional hospitality. What You Bring
- Experience in food service or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Ability to support and motivate a diverse team.
- Knowledge of food handling regulations and best practices in food production.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in kitchen operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Culinary skills with the ability to cook various cuisines is a plus.
