Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to assist with the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Restaurant Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and assisting with scheduling while creating a welcoming environment for our guests. Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and service. Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team. Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels. Utilize POS systems effectively for order processing and sales tracking (experience with Toast POS is a plus). Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to create menu items that align with customer preferences and trends. Monitor restaurant cleanliness and ambiance to enhance the dining experience. Requirements Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role within the food service industry. Strong knowledge of food management practices and food safety regulations. Proficient in using POS systems; experience with Toast POS is preferred. Exceptional leadership abilities to inspire and motivate team members. Experience in quick service fast food restaurants or fine dining establishments is advantageous. Outstanding customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
