Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and hands-on Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our busy restaurant. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can work alongside the team, maintain high service standards, and help management improve both the guest experience and overall restaurant performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Support management with day-to-day restaurant operations. Supervise and guide servers, bartenders, hosts, runners, and other FOH staff. Lead shifts and ensure smooth opening, service, and closing operations. Maintain excellent customer service and professionally resolve guest concerns. Monitor dining room and bar operations during busy periods. Help increase food, bar, catering, and event sales through strong leadership and guest engagement. Train, coach, and motivate employees while holding the team accountable to restaurant standards. Assist with employee scheduling, shift coverage, attendance, and communication. Ensure proper cash handling, POS procedures, discounts, voids, and closing procedures. Monitor cleanliness, organization, food safety, and overall restaurant presentation. Coordinate closely with the kitchen, bar, and management team. Assist with inventory, ordering, and controlling unnecessary waste. Support private parties, catering inquiries, reservations, and special events. Identify operational problems and communicate solutions to senior management. Step into different FOH positions when necessary to support the team.
Qualifications:
Previous restaurant management, shift-lead, bartending, or strong serving experience is preferred. Candidates must have excellent communication and leadership skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is proactive and leads by example , rather than simply supervising employees. The right person should be comfortable taking ownership of a shift, building relationships with guests, developing the team, increasing sales, and helping the restaurant grow. Evening and weekend availability is required.
