Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our fast-paced and dynamic restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily store activities, managing staff, ensuring excellent guest service, and driving sales growth. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of restaurant management to ensure the store operates efficiently and profitably. The Restaurant Manager will play a key role in driving our restaurant's growth, profitability and reputation for excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the team, including hiring, training, and evaluating employee performance Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product presentation Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS transactions Ensure high standards of guest service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly Monitor restaurant financials such as budgeting, payroll processing, and bookkeeping activities Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, policies, and updates Coordinate purchasing decisions and vendor relationships to maintain inventory levels Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and health standards Utilize strong communication skills to foster a collaborative team environment Skills Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience as a Restaurant Manager Excellent leadership and team management abilities with a focus on employee orientation and development Experience with POS systems, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks Commitment to providing exceptional guest service and creating a positive and welcoming guest experience Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Organizational skills necessary for overseeing restaurant operations such as stocking, stocking levels, merchandising, and inventory control Physical Demands & Work Environment Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing, and repetitive hand and wrist motion; working with and around hot, cold equipment in a fast-paced environment. Must also have the ability to regularly lift up to 40 pounds.
