JOB TITLE
Asst. Operations Manager
DAYS/HOURS
Mon thru Fri (also weekends) Open 7am to 10pm. Two shifts.

Supervisory Responsibility
  • Provide direction and leadership in absence of Manager
  • Ensures staff are maintaining standards set forth by this company.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensures correct checking, sorting, and grading of shellfish and other products as assigned. Proficient in sorting, packing, rotating, shucking, processing, and receiving of product. Understands and can administer processes for ensuring equipment is in good working order including but not limited to the operation of the lobster tanks. Monitors each stage of the processing process, recording each run as complete and ready for storage as appropriate. Ensures equipment is sterile and processing area is clean. Ensures food handling regulations and vendor recommendations for processing and sanitation are implemented and followed. Supports shift manager and operates as lead in the absence of him or her. Is a leader and role model to other staff Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Passionate about shellfish and the fishing industry
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Ability to assess products for quality compliance.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Basic understanding of principles and processes of customer service
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
  • At least two years of related work experience required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at times.

$26.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
