Bar 'Cino (we say "chee-no") is an informal neighborhood spot dedicated to making our guests feel welcome. Position:
In the General Manager role, you will be responsible for the daily operations and financial success of the property by optimizing profits and increasing sales.
About You :
The General Manager will be a results-driven leader with exceptional multitasking, interpersonal, and communication skills. This individual will have a strong passion for food and hospitality, along with a proven ability to develop people and foster a positive team culture. A minimum of 3 years of General Manager experience is required, preferably in high-volume, fine dining environments with extensive beverage programs.
Essential Duties:
Ensuring a quality guest experience by managing all areas of the restaurant's daily operations Hiring, training, and development of employees and managers, specific areas to include Guest Service, Etiquette, Food and Beverage Knowledge Daily reconciliation of actual revenues and payroll to budget and forecast Familiarity with financials, budgets, purchasing, labor costs, food costing, and inventory controls
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 per year Bonus Program eligible

Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years as a General Manager in an upscale, high-volume establishment Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
Skills & Abilities:
Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to build relationships and manage staff Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Must be able to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships
