Building on 20 years at Woodberry Kitchen, Spike Gjerde's ecco/project ( Woodberry Kitchen, La Jetée, Bar Dali) is a new food and hospitality company deeply committed to supporting the growers and makers of the Chesapeake Watershed, helping to strengthen a regional food system. La Jetée, the new French Provencal bistro at Harbor Point, is looking for a Bar Manager to join our incredible team focused on excellence and empathy in service. Our busy bar is the heart of our beautiful waterfront dining room and features an all-day menu drawing inspiration from French cafe culture. Espresso drinks in the morning turn into pastis in the afternoon, and spritzes at sunset.

Responsibilities:

Set up bar according to established standards. Execute consistent steps of service for every bar guest including exhibiting menu knowledge, service mechanics, and personality/genuine care. Start clean, work clean, finish clean. Maintain the standards set behind the bar, including engaging management when the guest experience or service expectations fall outside the standard of enjoyment.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years bartending in a fine dining setting, preferably independent restaurant

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
