restaurant in Maryland is hiring for our Management team. Look no further, Iron Rooster has the job for YOU! We are looking for an Experienced Restaurant Manager who is a self-starter and is ready to hit the ground running. The ideal Management candidate is responsible for assisting (reports to) the GM w/daily operations of the restaurant, including the selection, development and performance management of employees, as well as plan/assist in all restaurant operations. Maintain high standards of food, service, health and safety, ensure the efficient and profitable business performance of the restaurant and the optimal utilization of staff and resources. In addition, they oversee all aspects of the FOH and will report any concerns w/BOH operations to the Chef as needed for the successful continuation of the business on a consistent basis through the use of strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.Job Duties:
Providing direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues in the absence of the GM. Assists w/ customer satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and service offerings; initiating improvements; building relationships with preferred customers Assists w/ ensuring a safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations; maintaining security systems. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in the restaurant industry; attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. Accomplishes company goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Handles complaints of employees and disciplines employees w/ GM. Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback, establishing performance expectations, and conducts performance reviews . Assists in the termination of employees . Perform other duties as assigned Manage the hiring, selection and training of new employees Manages schedules, vacations, and requests for time off Managing the business by directing and holding the management, service, and production teams accountable for service and operations excellence Ensuring that all team members consistently adhere to Iron Rooster procedures, policies, and specifications to deliver the highest quality food and servesJob Specifications:
3+ years restaurant management experience, bachelor's degree preferred Restaurant training experience preferred Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Experience using POS systems, preferred Toast ServSafe certificate preferred High standards of personal hygiene and personal appearanceEqual Employment Opportunity:
