Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team at Walker's Restaurant Group, LLC. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of hospitality. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to manage staff effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards. Train, develop, and supervise staff members to enhance their skills in customer service, food handling, and operational procedures. Manage inventory control processes, including ordering supplies and tracking stock levels to minimize waste. Utilize POS systems such as Toast POS for efficient cash handling and transaction processing. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and presentation that meets our dining standards. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and high morale among staff members. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. Experience Proven experience in restaurant management or as an assistant manager Strong background in food service management with knowledge of full service operations Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create memorable dining experiences for guests.
