Job Description

Overview We are a fast-casual, high-energy restaurant and food truck operation looking for an operational Assistant Manager to join our leadership team. You will work directly alongside the General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, ensure lightning-fast customer service, and keep our kitchen and food truck running smoothly. Because we manage a diverse, fast-paced team and client base, fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
Duties Daily Operations:
Manage the daily floor operations of both the restaurant and food truck deployments, ensuring high standards of food quality and speed of service.
Team Leadership:
Assist in scheduling, supervising, and motivating front-of-house and back-of-house staff during high-volume shifts. Supervise and train staff on food handling, customer service, POS systems. Participate in staff training & development initiatives to foster a motivated team environment
Inventory & Logistics:
Help monitor inventory levels, track supplies, and ensure the food trucks and store are fully stocked and prepped for service.
Problem Solving:
Act as the shift lead to quickly resolve customer complaints, staff issues, or sudden logistical changes. Actively evaluate and implement new tools, ideas, process improvements, and technical skills to continuously enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall operational performance within the operations. Implement strategies for sales growth and operational efficiency.
Qualifications Required:
Fully bilingual (English and Spanish fluent). Proven experience in a fast-casual restaurant, quick-service restaurant (QSR), or food truck environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to multitask under pressure. Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings to support peak event times. Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision within quick-service & fast food environments Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting; assistant manager experience is highly valued Knowledge of inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures. Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster a positive team culture Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently during busy shifts while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
