Kitchen Manager

Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the delivery of exceptional food quality, maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness, and foster a positive, team-oriented environment. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold restaurant standards, and enhance the overall customer experience. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional passionate about food service management and team development. Responsibilities Supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish served Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability Oversee food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to promote skill development and maintain high performance standards Utilize the POS system TOAST for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Coordinate shift management to ensure smooth operations during busy hours while maintaining excellent customer service standards Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate expectations, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative team environment Experience Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques Demonstrated management experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting, including supervising teams and managing daily operations Familiarity with the POS system Toast for transaction processing and reporting Knowledge of food safety management practices aligned with industry standards Experience with inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and cost management strategies Background in fine dining or casual dining environments is preferred Strong leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and manage hospitality teams confidently Join us as a Kitchen Manager to lead with passion, inspire your team, and deliver memorable dining experiences. Pay:
$52,206.40 - $62,872.22 per year
