Job Description
Ani's Bagel Café is expanding, and we're looking for an experienced, motivated General Manager to lead our brand-new Wells location. For the past 12 years, Ani's Bagel Café has built a reputation for exceptional food, outstanding customer service, and a loyal community of customers. We are looking for the right person to help us continue that tradition while leading our newest location. This is a hands-on leadership position. We aren't looking for someone who manages from an office. We're looking for someone who enjoys working alongside their team, leading by example, and creating an environment where both employees and customers love being. Responsibilities Lead the daily operations of the café Hire, train, and motivate employees Create weekly staff schedules Order products and manage inventory Maintain food costs and minimize waste Ensure Health Department standards are consistently met Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient café Work on the line preparing sandwiches, coffee, and other menu items Deliver exceptional customer service while building relationships with our guests Help create a positive, team-oriented workplace culture Qualifications Minimum 3 years of management experience (restaurant, café preferred) Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Reliable, dependable, and able to lead by example Weekend availability is required Schedule Full-time Early mornings required (typically 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM) Weekend availability is required Benefits Paid time off Paid training Flexible scheduling Employee meals Opportunity for growth within a growing company We are looking for someone who wants more than just a job.
