Oversee day-to-day office operations and assist with event coordination as needed. Schedule is flexible based on event schedule. Essential Duties & Responsibilities - included in the following / other duties may be assigned
  • Answer all phone calls & emails promptly, forwarding to the applicable manager
  • Answer customers' questions and accommodate special requests
  • Send confirmation notifications follow up communication with all tours
  • Conduct event tours & print all applicable menu packets to provide to the client
  • Conduct weekly follow up calls & emails to new inquiries
  • Assist in office administrational & marketing duties
  • Ensures proper set up of all events prior to the start time, supervising the placement of tables, chairs, cutlery, plates, glasses, table linens, centerpieces and napkins
  • Collect products being delivered & direct to the correct person/location
  • Manage front of house colleagues & events at Pelister Park the Venue
  • Oversee the seating of guests, the serving of meals and beverages, and the clearing of tables Supervisory Responsibilities Assist in managing and supervising 20+ colleagues consisting of bartenders, servers, and coat check.
Responsible for overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the venue. Oversees any unforeseen happenings and makes sure that nothing hinders the event. Provides clients with the best customer services and an excellent banquet experience. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and / or experience Two or four years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
