Restaurant General Manager Basement Burger Bar Basement Burger Bar is looking for an experienced Restaurant General Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operation and overall performance of the restaurant. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands that running a successful restaurant means more than managing shifts. We are looking for someone who can lead the management team, control costs, grow sales, maintain standards, and operate the restaurant with an ownership mentality. Responsibilities Lead and hold the management team accountable Manage sales, labor, food cost, beverage cost and Prime Cost Build schedules and maintain proper staffing levels Recruit, train and develop employees and managers Maintain strong food, service and hospitality standards Monitor guest feedback and online reviews Oversee inventory, purchasing and cost controls Stay on top of repairs, maintenance and restaurant appearance Execute promotions and identify opportunities to increase sales Provide ownership with a weekly recap of restaurant performance Identify problems and solve them without waiting for ownership to step in What We're Looking For Restaurant General Manager or senior restaurant management experience Strong leadership and accountability Understanding of restaurant financials and cost controls Ability to manage both FOH and BOH operations Strong communication and problem-solving skills Someone who treats the restaurant as if it were their own This position has the opportunity to develop into a Managing Partner role for the right person.
