Utilize Shift 4 POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours while controlling labor costs. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety management practices and sanitation standards. Lead staff recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing training to develop a skilled and motivated team. Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, leadership, and performance feedback. Support special events including banquets, parties, and special events up to 200 patrons by coordinating food production and service logistics. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and cooking. Demonstrated management skills with previous supervisory or kitchen management roles; experience in hospitality or restaurant management preferred. Knowledge of POS systems with proficiency in cash handling and basic math is essential. Familiarity with food safety management practices, sanitation standards, and health regulations. (serve safe certification required) Strong team management skills with the ability to train, motivate, and lead diverse staff members effectively. Experience in inventory control, budgeting, profit/loss analysis, and cost management strategies. Excellent communication skills suitable for managerial roles including interviewing, training & development, and managerial communication. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills; previous casual dining or fine dining experience is required.
