Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Manager to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this dynamic role, you will lead daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and support the management team in maintaining a lively, efficient, and welcoming dining environment. Your passion for food, team leadership skills, and hospitality expertise will drive the success of our restaurant while fostering a positive experience for both guests and staff. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your managerial skills within a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. Duties Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service flow, and cleanliness standards Support staff training and development to ensure high-quality food handling, customer service, and safety procedures Manage shift schedules, monitor performance, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding hospitality experiences Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and reconciliation Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and food safety management protocols Assist in managing food production processes, including cooking, food presentation, and quality assurance Support management in analyzing profit and loss reports to optimize restaurant profitability Participate in interviewing potential team members and contribute to hiring decisions Supervise kitchen operations during shifts to ensure efficient food service and adherence to culinary standards Requirements Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong foundation in food preparation and cooking techniques Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience within the hospitality or food industry Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Knowledge of food safety management practices and food handling regulations Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and communicate managerial expectations clearly Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis in a restaurant setting Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for cash handling, inventory calculations, and financial reporting Culinary experience or kitchen management background is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to train staff effectively and foster a collaborative team environment Join us as an Assistant Manager — Restaurant and be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences.
