Responsibilities Lead and supervise bakery staff, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure high standards of food preparation and customer service. Oversee daily bakery operations, including food production, inventory management, and quality control to maintain freshness and presentation standards. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Monitor inventory levels regularly, place orders as needed, and control food costs to maximize profitability. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards through proper handling, storage, and preparation procedures. Coordinate shift schedules, manage staffing levels during peak hours, and handle cash handling responsibilities with accuracy. Support team development through training programs focused on culinary skills, customer service excellence, and safety protocols. Skills Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and bakery operations within a fast-paced environment. Proven ability in managing restaurant or hospitality teams with strong leadership skills in supervising staff. Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; skilled in cash handling and transaction processing. Deep understanding of inventory control practices, food safety management, and food industry standards. Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks such as interviewing, training, team management, and customer engagement. Strong organizational skills in shift management, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food production planning. Background in casual dining or quick service restaurant environments; experience with catering or banquet operations is a plus.
