Job Description
Job Overview We are excited to begin identifying candidates for a future Kitchen Manager opportunity at our upcoming New Baltimore location. While the New Baltimore location is still several months away from opening, qualified candidates may have the opportunity to join our team earlier and work at one of our existing locations prior to the New Baltimore location opening. This provides a great opportunity to learn our culture, menu, systems, and operating standards firsthand before transitioning into a management role at our newest location. As Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for leading back-of-house operations with a strong focus on food quality and consistency, team development, cost management, cleanliness, organization, and food safety. We're looking for a hands-on leader who takes ownership of their kitchen, develops great people, and takes pride in delivering a consistently great guest experience. Responsibilities Recruit, train, develop, and lead a high-performing kitchen team Oversee daily food preparation, execution, quality, and presentation Ensure consistency with established recipes, portions, and brand standards Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, stock rotation, and waste Monitor food and labor costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency Maintain exceptional kitchen cleanliness, organization, sanitation, and food-safety standards Manage kitchen scheduling and staffing based on business needs Lead smooth and efficient execution during high-volume service Work closely with restaurant leadership and our existing locations to maintain consistency and share best practices Help create a positive kitchen culture centered around accountability, teamwork, pride, and hospitality Lead by example and maintain a professional, positive environment for the entire team What We're Looking For Previous Kitchen Manager or comparable restaurant leadership experience preferred Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and hold a team accountable Experience managing food cost, inventory, ordering, waste, and labor Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation requirements including ServSafe certification Ability to maintain quality and consistency in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Highly organized, dependable, and hands-on Strong communication and problem-solving skills A team-first mentality and willingness to work alongside the team when needed Why Join Us?
