3rd Shift - Monday (Sunday night) through Thursday (Wednesday night) 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM (4-day workweek, 40+ hours) Friday (Thursday night) and Saturday (Friday night) overtime as needed

Competitive based on experience (includes shift premium) Position Overview The Extrusion Team Lead is an essential member of the manufacturing team. This position provides leadership and production support within the Extrusion Department while helping ensure the safe, efficient, and consistent flow of extrusions to other departments. The Team Lead is expected to set a positive example, support the production crew, and promote high standards in safety, quality, productivity, communication, and 5S practices. What You Will Do
  • Demonstrate effective leadership qualities and lead by example.
  • Provide production leadership while promoting safety, quality, productivity, and 5S standards.
  • Provide technical and operational support to the production team.
  • Ensure crew members have the equipment, materials, and supplies needed to complete their work.
  • Coordinate with the Shift Facilitator to address scheduling and staffing concerns, including vacation, sick leave, and FMLA-related absences.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to support production flow and departmental performance.
  • Coordinate and combine special bakes as needed.
  • Monitor and coordinate rack and spacer bar supply usage.
  • Lead toolbox talks at the beginning of the shift.
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of all jobs within the department.
  • Support a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
  • Perform additional department-related duties as assigned. Work Environment / Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to read and understand shop orders.
  • Must be able to read and interpret a tape measure.
  • Must understand decimals, fractions, and tolerances.
  • Must possess basic math skills.
  • Must be able to use various quality gauges.
  • Must be able to safely operate banding equipment, an air nail gun, and a radial arm wood saw.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate dependable attendance and must not have an active written warning for attendance.
  • Must be willing and able to qualify for EO1 and EO2 positions.
What You Need High School Diploma or GED Previous manufacturing or Aluminum Extrusion experience preferred Prior leadership, training, or team lead experience preferred Ability to pass a skills-based assessment Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to motivate, coach, and hold team members accountable Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret work instructions, safety rules, and procedures Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Must pass background check and drug screen Why Join Us We are committed to our core values: Safety | Integrity | Respect | Communication | Trust | Diversity | Accountability |
