Job Description
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Front of House Manager, where you will lead the guest experience and oversee daily restaurant operations with energy and enthusiasm. This pivotal role combines leadership, customer service excellence, and operational management to create memorable dining experiences. As a Front of House Manager, you will motivate staff, ensure smooth service flow, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and hospitality. Your proactive approach will inspire your team to deliver exceptional service while maintaining efficiency and profitability. Supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and training new team members to ensure top-tier service delivery. Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management, customer interactions, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlist to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times. Handle cash transactions, POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and perform cash handling duties accurately. Control inventory levels for front-of-house supplies and assist with food preparation coordination when needed. Ensure all food handling and safety standards are met or exceeded in compliance with local regulations. Lead staff meetings, conduct performance reviews, interview potential hires, and foster a positive team environment focused on growth and development. Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants, casual dining, or fine dining environments with supervising responsibilities. Strong knowledge of food service management, including food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety protocols. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required. Demonstrated leadership skills in hospitality management with a focus on team training & development. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally. Background in restaurant management or food industry roles such as assistant manager or supervisor preferred.
