Job Overview Preffered Serve Safe Certificate We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and presentation, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of excellence. This position requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen staff. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and storage areas. Assist in the planning and execution of catering events as needed. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and safety protocols. Uphold high standards of quality in food presentation and taste. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, with a focus on meal preparation and food service. Familiarity with catering operations is a plus, especially in fine dining settings. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Experience working within a dietary department or similar setting is advantageous. A strong understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines will enhance your candidacy.
