Assistant Manager - Big Apple Bagels Do you enjoy leading a team, taking ownership, and making a difference in your community? Big Apple Bagels wants you! We are a locally owned small business and franchise restaurant serving made-from-scratch products, including our signature bagels, gourmet muffins, flavored cream cheese spreads, sandwiches, and more. We are looking for an Assistant Manager who is ready to help lead the team and take ownership of daily operations. This is a hands-on position—you'll work alongside the team while helping make sure the restaurant runs smoothly and our customers receive great service. Responsibilities As an Assistant Manager, you will: Help lead and support the team during daily operations Take customer orders and prepare food Help coordinate catering and wholesale orders Train and support new team members Help keep employees productive and focused during their shifts Maintain high standards for cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation Help create a positive experience for both customers and employees Handle basic computer work, paperwork, and other management responsibilities Help identify problems and take initiative to solve them Support the General Manager with the overall operation of the restaurant What We're Looking For Previous food service or quick-service restaurant experience and leadership experience are required.
