This fall, we're launching a hybrid model: custom beverage service Wed-Sat 4-8pm, plus self-checkout grab-and-go the rest of the time we're open. We're looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to run the new show- inventory, staffing, systems, menu, partnerships and direct service. This person will make sure our food and beverage program runs smoothly, sustainably, and in line with our values. This is a hands-on role with independence. You'll train and lead ad hoc staff, manage vendors and inventory, keep an eye on the numbers, and help shape a food program that reflects our community's needs and desires. What you'll do Hire, train, and supervise part time/event food and beverage staff Build schedules and manage day-to-day staffing needs Own inventory and ordering, with a COGS target around 25% Troubleshoot equipment, self-checkout, and workflow issues Refresh the menu seasonally and use sales data to guide changes Staff and coordinate catering for on-site events Build partnerships with queer-owned food and beverage businesses for pop-ups Keep food safety and sanitation compliant with Minneapolis health code Report weekly to ownership on inventory, staffing, and operations needs Staff made-to-order beverage service hours Wed-Sat 4-8pm What you bring 2+ years in food & beverage ops, café management, or kitchen supervision Experience supervising and training staff Strong organizational skills- you can run multiple systems at once without dropping the ball Comfort with Google Workspace, POS systems (we use Dripos), and spreadsheets Working knowledge of food safety and handling standards Ability to lift up to 40 lbs A genuine connection to and respect for the Twin Cities LGBTQIA+ community Strong customer service skills Schedule On-site at least 4 days/week, including four service shifts (Wed-Sat 4:30-8:30).
