General Manager Job Summary:
The Assistant General Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading the Operations Department which includes the Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food and Beverage, and Owner Services teams at Treasure Lake RV Resort. This position ensures the smooth operation of these teams. The Director of Operations will work closely with the General Manager to develop and implement strategic initiatives that enhance the resort's operations and owner experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
Oversee the managers of the Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food and Beverage and Owner Services teams. Provide direction, support, and development opportunities to team managers to ensure effective team performance. Conduct regular performance evaluations and ensure continuous improvement of team operations.
Operational Oversight:
Ensure all teams operate efficiently and effectively, meeting the resort's standards of quality and service. Monitor and evaluate the performance of each team, implementing improvements as needed. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for all teams.
Budget and Resource Management:
Manage the budgets for each team under their leadership, ensuring adherence to budget constraints. Lead the budget-building process for each team, collaborating with team managers. Monitor expenditures and ensure resources are used efficiently. Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
Customer Service:
Ensure a high level of customer service is provided across all teams. Handle escalated owner complaints and issues, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions. Respond appropriately to reported incidents and complaints, coordinating with relevant teams.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and resort policies. Oversee safety programs and ensure a safe working environment for all staff. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections. Other Duties as
Assigned:
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by the General Manager to support the overall operations of the resort.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Ability to move throughout the resort over uneven terrain and use stairs. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to operate computers, office equipment, and resort vehicles. Ability to perform these essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
