Manager

We are seeking a general manager for our wine bar. This position very rarely opens, so we are looking for the perfect person to run the place like it's your own. Applicant must be over 21, have some serving experience, preferably management experience. This is an hourly paid position with 100% of the tips going to the manager. The applicant needs to be very outgoing, no fears of public speaking since hosting events is required, able to work every weekend and in the evenings. Must be reliable and able to multi-task alone. The manager will bartend, act as a server a run the day to day operations of the business. The following are some duties that will be required of this position, but this is a limited list.

• Working alone on some shifts which includes running the front of house as well as the small kitchen area. (there is a cook on busy days to assist)
• Bartending, upselling wine, beer, food and merchandise to customers.
• Providing table service
• Planning, hosting and decorating for events. As well as booking other events like music, etc.
• Social media, creating events, daily posts, videos, etc.
• Inventory of food, wine, beer and more
• Opening and closing of the store 4 days a week and on special event nights.
• Creating new drinks and menu items as well as keeping the printed menus up to date
• Inputting new inventory into the computer system and stocking all new products
