Job Description
Job Overview:
As an Assistant Manager, you will achieve sales growth and maintain company standards of excellence for your assigned shift by managing the flow of food service activity, assigning tasks, overseeing cash control and focusing on providing the highest quality food and the best hospitality service possible. You will assist the General Manager in running overall operations, while developing and retaining Team Members.Responsibilities:
- Supervising Team Members and Shift Leaders and maintaining the highest standards in quality, service and cleanliness.
- Actively monitors, demonstrates and provides training on all job duties of each position for any shift throughout the restaurant, including customer service, food preparation, cleaning and stocking.
- Works assigned schedule to ensure that all day parts are being observed, i.e. breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night and weekends.
- Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in cash register transactions
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with inventory management
- Conduct interviews and assist with the hiring process of new Team Members
- Assist with scheduling and shift management to ensure adequate staffing coverage
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback for improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Takes the initiative, in addition to providing excellent customer service, to perform other duties, as needed, to keep the restaurant clean, safe and operating efficiently.
