Duties Assist the Kitchen Manager in supervising daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and presentation standards Support staff training and development to ensure high levels of food safety, hygiene, and customer service Oversee food production processes, ensuring timely delivery of quality dishes in a fast-paced setting Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling Enforce food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen area Supervise shift activities, including coordinating team schedules and managing operational flow during busy hours Assist with budgeting, profit and loss analysis, and cost control initiatives to optimize restaurant performance Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service or casual dining environments Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Excellent leadership skills with experience managing hospitality teams and supervising staff training Deep understanding of food safety management practices and food handling procedures Ability to perform basic math for inventory counting, cash handling, and financial reporting Effective communication skills for managerial tasks such as interviewing, team management, and customer service interactions Familiarity with restaurant management software and tools for shift management, budgeting, and profit analysis Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism while maintaining a positive team environment This role is ideal for those passionate about culinary excellence who thrive in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
