Household Managers help take care of the everyday tasks and details that keep a home running smoothly, including meal prep, laundry, grocery and household shopping, errands, vendor coordination, and other household needs. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, trustworthy, self-motivated, and naturally notices what needs to be done. Because every household is different, we're looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, managing a variety of tasks, and adapting to each client's individual needs and routines. Responsibilities Grocery and household shopping Meal planning and meal preparation Laundry, folding, and putting away clothing and linens Running errands, returns, pickups, and drop-offs Restocking groceries and household supplies Scheduling and coordinating household vendors, services, repairs, and appointments Assisting with household projects and miscellaneous day-to-day tasks Keeping track of household needs and proactively addressing tasks as they arise Communicating clearly and professionally with clients and the Sunday House team Providing personalized household support based on each client's needs Requirements Dependable, trustworthy, responsible, and professional Strong organizational and time-management skills Self-motivated and comfortable working independently Detail-oriented with the ability to notice what needs attention without constant direction Comfortable performing everyday household tasks, including laundry, shopping, errands, and meal preparation Friendly and personable while maintaining discretion and respecting client privacy Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to client homes throughout the St. Louis area Valid driver's license Strong communication skills Willingness to complete a background check Previous experience in household management, personal assistance, hospitality, professional organizing, nanny/household roles, or similar work is helpful but not required. Strong cooking and meal-prep skills are especially valuable. Position Details This is a part-time independent contractor (1099) position . Client assignments vary based on location, availability, and household needs. Work is primarily performed on weekdays in clients' homes throughout the St. Louis area. Starting at $25 per hour , with higher rates available based on relevant experience and skills.
