Overview Join our dynamic team as a Huddle House Assistant General Manager and lead the charge in delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, motivate and manage staff, ensure top-notch customer service, and maintain food safety standards. Responsibilities Assist in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, kitchen management, and customer service delivery. Supervise and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and team development initiatives. Oversee inventory control, food safety compliance, and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality standards are met. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Manage shift schedules, monitor labor costs, and analyze profit and loss reports to maximize operational efficiency. Ensure adherence to health regulations, safety protocols, and food safety management practices across all departments. Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences while fostering a positive team environment focused on continuous improvement. Experience Proven management experience within the food service industry, ideally with quick service or fast food restaurant background. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and culinary processes. Hands-on experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling procedures. Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively in a high-volume casual dining or hospitality setting. Strong understanding of inventory control, food safety standards, and food industry best practices. Experience with staff training, team leadership, interviewing potential employees, and managing hospitality teams. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead shift management smoothly while maintaining high customer service standards.
