Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our restaurant operations with passion and precision. Responsibilities Lead daily restaurant operations, including managing staff schedules, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards. Supervise kitchen activities such as cooking, food handling, inventory control, and food safety management to deliver high-quality culinary experiences. Oversee POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Train and develop staff through ongoing coaching, staff training programs, and performance evaluations to build a motivated and skilled team. Manage inventory levels efficiently to reduce waste while maintaining optimal stock for smooth service flow. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction. Conduct shift management duties including supervising team members, managing restaurant flow during peak hours, and ensuring compliance with all operational procedures. Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for increased revenue and cost savings within the food service operation. Implement food safety protocols in accordance with industry standards to maintain a safe environment for staff and guests. Support catering events, banquet services, or quick-service initiatives as needed to diversify revenue streams. Skills Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within casual dining or fast food environments. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing and reporting. Strong background in inventory control, food safety management, and food handling procedures. Proven leadership skills in supervising teams, training staff, and managing hospitality teams effectively. Excellent communication skills for managerial oversight, staff training, interviewing candidates, and customer service interactions. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, budgeting, and financial analysis purposes. Experience managing restaurant operations including shift management, food production oversight, and managing hospitality teams in diverse settings such as casual dining or catering environments. Knowledge of food industry standards related to culinary practices, food safety regulations, and hospitality management principles. Demonstrated ability to analyze profit & loss reports to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.
