Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to lead our restaurant team to success! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will inspire staff, streamline processes, and create a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Responsibilities Assist in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness to ensure smooth daily functioning. Supervise and motivate team members, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills in food handling, customer service, and kitchen management. Oversee inventory control processes, including stock ordering, storage, and waste reduction to optimize food costs and minimize shortages. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation with accuracy and efficiency. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations through regular monitoring and staff training on proper food handling procedures. Manage shift schedules, coordinate staffing levels for busy periods, and handle customer complaints promptly to uphold high service standards. Support budgeting efforts by monitoring expenses related to food production, labor costs, and supplies while maintaining quality standards. Experience Proven experience in food service management or hospitality management within quick service or fast food restaurants is essential. Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, staff training, and interviewing skills. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations—preferably with casual dining or fine dining experience. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast along with cash handling expertise. Knowledge of inventory control practices, food safety regulations, and food industry best practices. Experience in managing budgets, shift scheduling, catering operations, or banquet services is a plus. Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive team environment focused on delivering outstanding customer experiences.
