Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Event Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of exceptional events at our vibrant culinary venue. As the driving force behind our event experiences, you will oversee all aspects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring seamless operations and memorable guest interactions. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive event plans aligning with client objectives, including venue setup, catering, entertainment, and logistics. Manage event budgets meticulously, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards. Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and clients to secure favorable terms and build lasting partnerships. Coordinate with marketing teams to promote upcoming events through social media, email campaigns, and local outreach efforts. Oversee all event management software tools and CRM systems to track bookings, client communications, and post-event feedback. Lead a team of staff and vendors during events to guarantee smooth execution and exceptional guest service. Upsell additional services such as catering packages or special amenities to maximize revenue opportunities. Maintain excellent communication with clients throughout the planning process, providing updates and managing expectations effectively. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including catering standards and banquet requirements. Conduct post-event evaluations to gather insights for continuous improvement and client satisfaction enhancement. Experience Proven experience in event planning or management within the hospitality or food service industry. Strong background in managing event budgets, contracts, and vendor negotiations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with event management software platforms. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills for engaging clients, vendors, and team members clearly and professionally. Familiarity with CRM systems for client relationship management and marketing initiatives. Experience in banquet or catering operations is highly desirable. Knowledge of fundraising or community event promotion is a plus.
