RESTAURANT FLOOR MANAGER
| New Fine-Dining Restaurant | Cary, NC We are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial Restaurant Floor Manager to help lead the launch and growth of a new fine-dining restaurant in Cary. This is not a traditional "keep the restaurant running" management role. We are looking for someone who can build the operation, establish a service culture, develop a high-performing team, and help make the restaurant one of the best dining destinations in the area. The ideal candidate has strong fine-dining experience, exceptional hospitality instincts, leadership skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset. You should be comfortable taking ownership, identifying opportunities, solving problems independently, and turning ideas into action.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Pre-Opening & Restaurant Launch Help establish and implement front-of-house operating standards and service procedures Assist with opening preparation, staff training, menu knowledge, table settings, service sequences, and restaurant readiness Help recruit, train, coach, and develop the front-of-house team Establish a culture built around hospitality, professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail Work closely with ownership and leadership to continuously improve the guest experience Floor & Service Leadership Lead the dining room during service and ensure exceptional guest experiences Maintain fine-dining standards for service, presentation, timing, cleanliness, and hospitality Coordinate effectively between the kitchen, bar, hosts, servers, runners, and support staff Monitor table pacing, reservations, seating flow, guest satisfaction, and overall floor performance Step in and solve service issues quickly and professionally Be visible and engaged on the floor rather than managing from the sidelines Team Leadership Lead by example and set the standard for professional hospitality Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities Coach employees in real time and provide ongoing feedback Identify high performers and develop them into future leaders Hold the team accountable for service standards, attendance, appearance, and performance Build a positive team culture where employees take pride in the restaurant Guest Experience Develop relationships with regular guests and VIP customers Handle guest concerns with professionalism and sound judgment Look for opportunities to exceed guest expectations Create memorable experiences that encourage repeat visits and word-of-mouth referrals Understand that in fine dining, every detail matters Entrepreneurial & Business Mindset We are looking for someone who thinks like an owner , not simply an employee.

Required:
Proven experience in fine dining, upscale dining, or high-end hospitality Previous supervisory or management experience Strong knowledge of restaurant service standards and front-of-house operations Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to train, coach, and motivate a diverse team Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Highly Desired:
