Job Description
Chili Willi's is a Tex-Mex restaurant known for its traditional Mexican dishes with Texas influences, bold flavors and scratch made cuisine. Offering items like burritos, fajitas, pork carnitas tacos and award-winning chili recipes to name a few. We are seeking a full-time Assistant Manager to join our team. The Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day operations of restaurant. The Manager will report to and work with the GM to drive business, control costs and build an elite, team oriented staff. The Manager will be assisting one of our locations with support in FOH operations, staff hiring and training, policy/procedure adherence and execution, health department standards and guest experiences. Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to: Recruiting, selecting, and developing a competent team of store personnel who lead the industry in customer service. Maintaining adequate inventory pars to ensure optimum levels of product on hand. Managing employee relations by effectively communicating with staff using various styles of approach depending on the individual. Maintaining store conditions that meet or exceed company goals. Analyzing financial and accounting reports. Successful and profitable controlling of expenses such as food cost, labor cost, inventory, cash control, payroll, etc. Ensuring that staff schedules optimized and posted within the company's timeline. Completing recurring tasks on or before scheduled deadlines. Maintaining a professional image with customers and staff. Providing Excellent Customer Service at all times and running great shifts Administrative Duties Daily financials, Payroll entry process, new employee paperwork, etc. Staff scheduling Observing weekly alcohol audit process. Daily sales reconciliation procedures. Schedule The work week will normally be 5 days and a mix of 10-12 hour shifts. Meetings and abnormal circumstances could lead to additional days/time. Our normal standard is whatever it takes to get the job done. The schedule will consist of working a mix of shifts (opening, closing, Volume, doubles) The work week will consist of a varied schedule of lunches, dinners, late nights, weekends, weekdays, and holidays.
