General Manager — Tru Soul Food Kitchen (Creedmoor, NC) About the Role Tru Soul Food Kitchen is looking for a hands-on General Manager to take full ownership of our Creedmoor location. This location needs structure, and you will be the person who brings order to it: setting up training, building the schedule, managing inventory and ordering, and getting the day-to-day running smoothly and consistently. If you like walking into something that needs organizing and turning it into a well-run operation, this is your seat. What You'll Own You run the location. Both the front of house and the back of house answer to you, and the results of the restaurant are yours. Operations. Get the daily flow organized and consistent so every shift runs the same way. Set the standard and hold the team to it. Training. Put real training in place for every position. Make sure new and current staff know exactly what is expected and how to do their jobs well. Scheduling. Own the staff schedule. Make sure every shift is covered with the right people and labor stays in line. Inventory and ordering. Track inventory, place orders for food and supplies, rotate stock, and cut waste so the location always has what it needs without overspending. Vendors and cost control. Work with vendors, keep an eye on pricing, and manage food and labor costs to protect the location's profitability. Payroll and back office. Keep up with payroll, track hours, and stay on top of the paperwork that keeps the location running. Team leadership. Lead by example, jump in wherever you are needed, and build a team that takes pride in the food and the service. Handle hiring, coaching, and accountability. Standards and quality. Keep the food, the cleanliness, and the guest experience at the level our name stands for. Reporting. Track the location's numbers and keep ownership informed on how things are running. What We're Looking For Restaurant management experience, ideally as a GM or assistant manager. Someone who is organized, dependable, and not afraid to get their hands dirty. A natural leader who can train people, hold a standard, manage the numbers, and stay calm in a busy rush. Someone who wants to grow with a company that is expanding.
