Noble Food & Pursuits is a chef driven hospitality group based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Our restaurants range from neighborhood favorites to destination dining, with each concept rooted in craftsmanship, genuine hospitality, and a commitment to quality. As we continue to grow, we remain focused on building strong teams, developing great leaders, and creating restaurants where both our guests and our people want to be. That growth continues this December with the opening of a new Rooster's Wood Fired Kitchen in Davidson, North Carolina. Noble Food & Pursuits will also be opening Brasserie Copain next door, expanding our presence in Davidson and building a new leadership team within the market. We are hiring now for the General Manager of Rooster's Davidson . The selected leader will begin training within our existing Charlotte market restaurants ahead of opening, providing time to learn our company, systems, standards, culture, and the Rooster's operation before taking ownership of the new restaurant. Rooster's Wood Fired Kitchen is centered around wood fired cooking, scratch preparation, quality ingredients, genuine hospitality, and the energy of a great neighborhood restaurant. The General Manager will partner closely with the Executive Chef to build the team, establish the culture, and lead the restaurant from opening forward. When the General Manager is present, engaged, consistent, and holding the standard, the team feels it. Communication is stronger, expectations are clearer, and the operation runs differently. We are looking for a leader who inspires the team by how they show up every day. Someone who works alongside their people, leads by example, sets clear expectations, holds people accountable, and creates an environment where the team takes pride in what they are building together. Developing people is a big part of this role. We want leaders who know their team, coach in the moment, recognize potential, and create opportunities for people to grow. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and Noble Food & Pursuits leadership throughout training, preopening, and opening, then take ownership of the day to day performance of the restaurant. What You'll Do Lead day to day restaurant operations with a strong and consistent floor presence Recruit, hire, train, and develop managers and hourly team members Build and prepare the team for the December opening Partner closely with the Executive Chef and culinary leadership Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable to them Lead the guest experience and stay connected to what is happening throughout the restaurant Coach managers and team members and identify opportunities for continued development Manage labor, scheduling, staffing levels, and restaurant productivity Maintain a strong understanding of sales, operating expenses, and overall restaurant performance Support inventory, purchasing, and cost control in partnership with culinary leadership Maintain strong standards for cleanliness, organization, safety, and restaurant readiness Recognize problems early, take ownership, and follow through until they are resolved Maintain strong knowledge of the restaurant's wine and beverage program What You'll Bring 5+ years of progressive restaurant management experience General Manager experience in a full service restaurant environment strongly preferred A track record of building strong teams and developing managers The ability to inspire a team and lead by example Strong floor presence and the ability to lead effectively during busy service Experience managing labor, scheduling, restaurant financials, and operating performance Strong communication, organization, and problem solving skills The ability to hold people accountable while maintaining a strong team environment Comfort partnering closely with both front of house and culinary leadership Restaurant opening experience preferred but not required Strong wine knowledge or experience working with an established wine program preferred Comfort with a five day leadership work week averaging 50+ hours, including weekends, holidays, and peak business periods based on restaurant needs Why Join Us Salary range of $85,000 to $95,000 Bonus eligible 15 days of paid time off annually Health and dental insurance eligibility after 90 days Monthly dining stipend to enjoy Noble Food & Pursuits full service concepts Opportunity to build and lead a new restaurant within a growing hospitality group
