As General Manager, you will have full responsibility for your café — including your team, guest experience, daily operations, financial performance, and overall success of the location. We operate 15 Tropical Smoothie Cafe locations and are looking for a leader who knows how to build a great team, develop people, create a positive culture, and take ownership of results. What You'll Do Recruit, hire, train, and retain a strong team Develop Assistant Managers and Shift Leaders Lead all day-to-day café operations Create a positive, accountable team culture Deliver an outstanding guest experience Manage scheduling and labor Manage food costs, inventory, and operating expenses Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and brand standards Coach and develop employees Maintain food safety and operational compliance Drive sales and profitability Take full ownership of the performance of your café Who We're Looking For We're looking for a strong restaurant leader who: Has restaurant management experience Has a proven ability to lead and develop people Can recruit, build, and retain a strong team Takes ownership and follows through Understands scheduling, labor, food costs, and restaurant operations Is dependable, organized, and accountable Communicates effectively Sets high standards for service, cleanliness, and execution Performs well in a fast-paced environment Previous General Manager experience is preferred, but not required. We are also interested in successful Assistant General Managers and experienced restaurant managers who are ready to take full responsibility for their own location. Requirements Must have access to a reliable laptop computer for scheduling, reporting, training, communication, and other management responsibilities Must obtain and maintain required food-safety/ServSafe certification Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the café Must be comfortable using computers and restaurant management systems Why Tropical Smoothie Cafe?
