Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our fine dining establishment. This role is crucial in ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the culinary arts, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding dining experience. Responsibilities Manage front of house operations, ensuring smooth service flow and guest satisfaction. Supervise and train staff, including servers and hosts, to uphold service standards. Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate food service and maintain quality. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for front of house staff. Oversee inventory control, ensuring adequate supplies while minimizing waste. Implement and maintain health and safety regulations in accordance with industry standards. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance their experience. Monitor performance metrics and provide feedback to staff for continuous improvement. Requirements Proven experience in customer service within a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary principles is preferred. Experience in shift management with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and staff training. Ability to manage inventory control processes efficiently. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of service delivery. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
