A Restaurant or Food Service Manager oversees daily operations at a restaurant or an institution that serves meals such as a college or hospital. Hires, trains and supervises food service workers, manages meal and work schedules, supervises supply orders, food preparation and the quality of food and service, and monitors compliance with health regulations.

Responsibilities:
Staff Management:
Message, interview, hire, train, onboard, oversee, and, if necessary, terminate employees and shift leaders. Manage employee schedules, including handling call-outs and shift coverage. Maintain staffing levels and respond to employee scheduling needs
Operational Management:
Oversee the making of product bases. Cash and change management. Monitor security cameras to ensure productivity and employee well-being. Manage inventory, handle emergency stock-outs, and order weekly and monthly supplies.
Quality and Customer Service:
Maintain high standards for product quality, food preparation, portion sizes, and presentation. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Address customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
Maintenance and Cleanliness:
Ensure adherence to the deep cleaning schedule. Train employees on cleaning practices and maintain store hygiene. Handle maintenance issues and uphold store standards.
Performance Monitoring:
Conduct regular performance reviews. Issue write-ups and manage employee duties. Motivate and support the team to enhance productivity and morale.
Requirements:
Valid Drivers License as well as reliable transportation to and from training/work hours. 1-2 years of relative managerial experience.
