Job Description
Jersey Mike's continues to be one of the fastest growing brands in the world. This creates great opportunities both for initial opportunities, but also long term career advancement. We are looking to hire MITs(Managers in Training) in the greater Raleigh area. Our training takes roughly 360 hours at a training location prior fully taking on below expectations.
General Manager Requirements & Expectations:
Ability to work a 50+ hour week, weekends and additional nights as needed. At least 18 years of age Must be able to perform, teach and train all aspects of assistant manager, line employee positions, as needed Ability to handle fast-paced and high stress situations in the store Understand that in times of emergency extra hours and efforts will be required Organize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision Willing to coach and task-manage employees on store operationsExpectations:
Weekly Scheduling/Staffing. Schedule ready for review by Wednesday at 7PM. Update per DM's feedback prior to posting. Enforcing prep schedules/reducing food waste through use of tools and training Reviewing prior week par levels to reduce food and prep waste using production report and pro chart. Maintaining store cleanliness Complete food and Pepsi orders using order guides with established par levels. Update par levels quarterly at a minimum Follow onboarding process for new hires Complete first 10 shift training outline on "shift approach to training tool" for all new Hires personally or through delegation to AGM/Shift leaders. Sign off on employees at the conclusion of 10-day training and send sign off to DM and DO who will verify quality training within 4 weeks. Ongoing training of all employees. Especially holding key holders accountable. Maintain minimum key holders in store. Ensure deposits are made every M/W/F with exception of holidays Ensure strong customer service. Address any comment cards and reviews with the team. Works two dinner shifts per week with one being through close. Ensure LMS completion by all employees. 75% completion by all employees by 6 months. 100% completion prior to shift leader title Maintain store stability with at least 2 certified shift leaders beyond GM and enough employees to cover all shifts without additional help from DM or other stores Ensure uniform compliance by anyone on the clock. 100% execution on all catering orders. Complete (Bi-weekly inventory) and review. Send an action plan to the DM if COGS are out of line. Responds to any correspondence in a timely manner Ensure checklist completion for all shifts Communicate any store needs with smallwares, uniform orders, and R&M (smallwares- DM, uniforms
